For Reconstruction of Medial Collateral Ligament
LARS® MCL
Indicated for the reconstruction of Medial Collateral Ligament. MCL 32 ligament comprises of distinct zones:
- Cylindrical: an intra-osseous section, wrap knitting, to pass into the femoral tunnel, providing resistance to wave loosening & elongation
- Free fibers corresponding to the MCL itself, a longitudinal extra-articular section, to reduce wear & fatigue
- Flat extra-osseous section, to pass into for the tibial insertion, providing a strong anchorage resistance of the ligament on bone cortex
- Traction threads made of PEHM to help the passage of the ligament into the bone tunnels. They are removed at the end of the surgery.
We offer a range of fixations (screws and staples) and instruments compatible with this reference’s size.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
LARS® ligaments are implantable and non-absorbable medical devices. They are made of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) fabrics composed of adjacent technical threads, cross-linked by a mesh that holds the structure together.
LARS® cannulated ligament screws are made of Titanium Alloym corrding to ISO 5832-3 standard.
LARS® staples are made of Cobalt Chromium Alloy, according to ISO5832-4 standard.
