LARS® Ankle Lateral

Indicated for the reconstruction of Ankle Lateral Ligament to treat ankle lateral instability. LLEA 44 ligament comprises of:

  • 2 bundles (Y-shaped with three branches) designed to stabilize the joints, passed into talus, calcaneus and fibula tunnels
  • Free fibers technology facilitates fibroblastic growth
  • Traction threads made of PEHM to help the passage of the ligament into the bone tunnels. They are removed at the end of the surgery.

We offer a range of screw fixations and instruments compatible with this reference.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

LARS® ligaments are implantable and non-absorbable medical devices. They are made of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) fabrics composed of adjacent technical threads, cross-linked by a mesh that holds the structure together.

LARS® cannulated ligament screws are made of Titanium Alloy according to ISO 5832-3 standard.
